Global Mobile OS

Another Gartner table is worth mulling over. This is the operating system table shown below. As I have said in previous posts its clear whose winning the war. Android grew 100% in the last year moving market share up to 64%. Apple grew sales but only hung on to its market share of 18% as the total universe of sales grew. RIM lost a lot less that people think, Nokia's old "high end" lost the most as people turned off Nokia smartphones. Windows did indeed grow market share, but not much.
