Aerovironment drones now in use by UK police including this one in Liverpool. All US law enforcement 18000 offices are evaluating drones, now FAA has issued clear advice on deployment, following Obama signed legislation supporting use. This helicopter like drone costs $40k versus $1.5 for a helicopter and flies at up to 250 feet for several hours at virtually no cost. Armed with cameras and GPS, this UAV can spot problems and follow criminals while directing police.
