Marvell is a large US technology company that has specialized and built a niche in disk drives, solid state drives and mobile technology. The company is trading well below its real value. There are many reasons.
What the Market is Missing
My View
Currently trading around $15, I think it has potential to break out this year to around $20-$24.
What the Market is Missing
- Marvell has developed a number of chips to address China, who took a different path to the rest of the world in developing cellular infrastructure. Because of this the normal technology of cell phones, designed for the USA or Europe won't work in China.
- Marvell is the worlds leader in solid state drives (which will eventually replace disks) as well as hard disks, the market is not seeing this, only that Marvell is in "old technology"
