Akamia released a report this week on the state of the Internet. Based on my previous comments about Netflix and others I found this table interesting (extracted and averaged) showing connections over 5mbs (basic video). It clearly shows that the ROW is just not ready for Netflix (or BT or any other IP based) video delivery.
