Vivendi - A Share to Watch

Vivendi owns huge intellectual assets, and on the ground wire and mobile distribution networks in Europe and Africa. Its a mess of a conglomerate that also owns the worlds largets game company, makers of Call of Duty, whose shares were E32 5 years ago and in April dipped to E12. Their CEO has just been fired by the Board supposedly following a dispute over strategy. In the last year the shares have fellen from nearly E20. Rumours are the Board wants to divest. This is a company with an 18bn market cap which pays over 7% dividends regularly, and which broken up might well fetch 50% more than it value as a messy conglomerate.
I think I missed it at E12, its now E14.50, but if it drops back to around 10-12 is worth a try. It may be worth waiting for the dust to settle, as the market seems to have reacted oddly to the CEO (who had been quite successful) leaving, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop again. But its not going to drop far with these dividends. Set an alarm at E10 or E12 this would boost the dividend to around 8%.
